Happy September 1st! My favorite time of year is here! I absolutely love Fall so much because it feels like a new beginning. There’s something about the crisp air, cuddle weather, and coziness that is so comforting to me.
One of my favorite things to do in the Fall is add some seasonal decor to my apartment. I love to add a few things like candles, extra blankets, and some pumpkins.
I’m going to share some decor ideas for you if you feel like sprucing up your apartment for the new season.
Candles
Of course the first thing is candles! My favorite kind of scents are baked goods – haha. Bath and body works is the place for all the fall candles you could ever dream of, but they are so expensive!! Sometimes they have major sales on them when they drop in price to like $8.99 so keep an eye out for that sale.
Walmart has basically the same scent candles for $3. Yep, that’s right, only $3. If you have a Walmart near you check out their candle selection to save some money.
A wreath
A wreath is a nice touch to add to your apartment for fall. My roommates and I used to get a wreath every season for our door. I love doing that because it makes the place feel extra homey.
I love this one! The colors are so pretty and it’s a good price. Don’t forget the door hanger.
A letter board
If you don’t already have a letter board I recommend getting one. It’s great decor for an apartment that you can use all year round. For the fall, add a cute quote to it!

Fall kitchen towels
Something I do every season is put my fall kitchen towels out instead of the plain ones I usually use. This is an inexpensive way to add some fall colors to the kitchen.
I got the ones in the picture a while ago so I can’t find them exactly to link for you, but these are super cute!
A burlap banner with saying
I just ordered this super cute banner from Amazon that says “Happy Fall”. I think I’m either going to put it by the door or add it to the little gallery wall I have.
If you have a gallery wall this is something simple you can add to it. It’s another inexpensive way to add some fall decor to your space.
Seasonal mugs
I’m obsessed with mugs, it’s kind of a problem – haha. I love getting seasonal mugs. It makes mornings better.
Pumpkins
Another way I love to decorate for fall is with pumpkins. Every year my boyfriend and I go to a pumpkin patch and get some small pumpkins for my apartment! It’s a great tradition!
Throw pillows and cozy blankets
An easy way to change up your decor for fall is to get a couple throw pillows and blankets. One of the best parts of fall is how cozy it is. Why not really get in the spirit with some cute pillows and blankets?
If you order any pillow covers on Amazon make sure to get the pillow to put in it. In the pictures of the pillow covers it looks like they are just a pillow so make sure to read the descriptions because most of the time it’s just the cover. The great thing about this is, once you have some plain pillows you can change out the covers on them.
