Hey friends! I hope you all had a great weekend and aren’t dreading Monday too much. Sunday is my favorite day of every week. It’s my day that I get myself re-organized and refueled for the week ahead. I’m going to be sharing with you some of the things that I do to get myself back on track.
- Sleep in
If there is any day that I’m able to sleep in, it’s Sunday. I take full advantage of that as much as I can. I don’t set an alarm, I just let my body get up when it’s ready. This makes it a relaxing morning so I can just ease into the day. When I get up I make my coffee and usually waffles. When I’m done eating I’ll start to get ready for the day.
- Empty my inbox
I go through my email and delete all advertisement/promotional emails I got over the weekend and unsubscribe from some as well. I spend so much time on Monday mornings getting rid of emails from the weekend, so it’s just better to get it done on Sunday. Same thing goes for my text messages; I delete any message threads I don’t need anymore.
- Create a To-Do list
I write down everything like doctors appointments, meetings, and other important things in my planner. Then I write down a list of all the other little things that can be done any day during the week on my notepad with a little box to check it off when it’s done. This is one of the most helpful things because if it’s written down I won’t forget and it shows me what my week is going to be like.
- Do laundry
If you are anything like me, you let your clothes pile up over the weekend. My room ends up looking like a clothes bomb went off. I get all my laundry done and clean my sheets so everything is fresh for the week ahead.
- Declutter your surroundings
I take 5-10 minutes to put my shoes away, put any loose change away, put books back on the bookshelf, throw away trash from my purse, whatever it may be.
- Enjoy your day
Even though getting ready for the week is important, don’t spend all day doing these things. I probably take an hour or 2. Incorporating these things into Sunday or spread them out over the weekend will make your week just that much easier. Make sure you enjoy your day and do something fun!

Yes! Laundry, dishes, church, nap, wash my bedding and make my bed. Cook a delicious dinner with enough for leftovers and I’m ready for the week!
Awesome tips! Totally agree on the last one “Enjoy your day”, because I believe if you don’t give time to yourself, you will not be so productive in the future. I learned that the hard way!
I love catching up on things on fridays’ and saturdays’ wether if its work, school or just TV series that im following. Sleep and rest all day on Sundays’ and my husband do all the labor!

I like the idea to create a to-do list. I should try it next Sunday!
