I thought I’d share some of my recent favorite book choices. Since we are nearing the start of summer – aka reading on the beach time – you might need some book suggestions. These are the three best books I’ve read in the past year. I definitely have many more books to share with you, but for now here are the 3.

You Are A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero
This book is all about how to start living an awesome life. It’s filled with hilarious stories, advice, and some quick exercises. If you are ready to make some serious changes this is a must read. I’ve read it twice in the past year in full and it hasn’t gotten old. I recommend bookmarking some of your favorite parts to look back on when you are doubting yourself or need a little reminder. This book is all about getting it together but in a hilarious way!
13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do by Amy Morin
I picked this book up on Black Friday right before y trip to Saint Lucia for an airplane read. Morin is a psychotherapist so after many years of counseling and personal experience she wrote a post on Forbes.com about these 13 things. It received 10 million views so she decided to expand on these things in a book. She shares her practices for increasing mental strength through her own experiences and stories from her work in psychotherapy. With her tips advice, and some artwork you’ll be on the path to a stronger mind and a better life.
Almost Adulting by Arden Rose
Arden Rose is a YouTuber who wrote this book about becoming an adult. It’s a funny approach to discussing how to properly adult. She talks about how to survive adulthood through her personal experiences. By the end you’ll know how to travel alone, decorate your apartment on a budget, how to dress yourself and more. I finished this book in less than a day because I just couldn’t put it down! It’s a must read for young adults.
These are my three current book recommendations. I love reading so expect more posts about what’s in my library soon! Thanks for reading.
